Within the first hour and a half of my day:

I wonder why I talk to certain people.
Someone I talked to today, after I commented that I particularly liked a specific cover of The Hobbit, asked me, “They have different covers?” Holy shit! What is this bewildering idea of books not having the same covers over the decades they have been around since published? I’m sick of this ruthlessly stupid society.

When we eat animals modified genetically and with antibiotics (as well as other drugs), our bodies become resistant to antibiotics, making it harder for us to cure our own diseases.
