I slept for what felt like a minute after my alarm sounded (except that minute was actually a half hour), coffee-maker decided to stop working halfway done making my coffee, almost broke my wrist, almost got hit by two cars, once because my car likes to hydroplane, and once because my car likes to stall in the middle of cross-traffic intersections, dropped my copy of the Bell Jar in a puddle, got to work to find that my boss was late so I didn’t have to rush at all, a passer-by spilled my coffee all over my foot and didn’t care, had to deal with an ignorant, racist right-winger, an entire shelf of books in my bookstore fell on my head, and I have seven hours yet to go at work, and the best thing I have to vent to is Tumblr. Fuck.

Thanks life, I was already in such a good place to deal with all of this.
